About Us
Ayan Ahmad Trading Corporation Private Limited is a Leaf trading company established in 2021. Our main office is in Swabi, Pakistan, from where we supply a quality of tobacco across the world. The company owners have roots back in tobacco farming till five decades.
The company engaged more than 600 growers where they are cultivating almost 800 hectares of tobacco land. We always focused on producing high quality of tobacco and fulfilled the quality demands of buyers.
Since from the beginning, the company is achieving a continuous growth and customers demands are increasing every year. We produce almost 02 million KGs of quality tobacco every year, where we export it across the world: South Korea, Turkey, Indonesia, Middle East and Europe.

Green Leaf Threshing (GLT)
Green Leaf Threshing (GLT) is processing plant which processes green leaf for cigarette factory and export. This factory process all types of tobacco leaf and basically this processing of leaf is for cigarette use.
GLT plant capacity is 7500kg/hr. Plant receives raw tobacco from farmer level by buying court and comes to the plant for threshing, First it comes to feed table then maintaining the required moisture it goes to the thresher for seperating the mid rib (stem) & lamina.
Next the seperated lamina goes to the lamina Dryer for drying to the required moisture level, and goes to Auto press for 200kg package. Process line scrap (small lamina) after drying goes for 50kgs bag. Finally all products after 72 hours of cooling are sent for warehousing in the company godown.
FLUE CURED VIRGINIA TOBACCO (CIGARETTE TOBACCO)
It is a cash crop and while catering to domestic requirements, a portion of it is exported too.
It may be lemon, light orange, orange to deep orange in color. Production is regulated according to the demands of Tobacco Companies and the Crop size is fixed after publicizing of their demand. It is grown in Loamy soils through March to September. Compositions include:
Nicotine: 1.3-2.5%
Reducing Sugar: 9-16%
Chloride: 0.75-0.90%
LIGHT AIR CURED TOBACCO (BURLEY)
This type of tobacco is used by companies for blending purposes.
Production is regulated according to the demands of Tobacco Companies and the Crop size is fixed after publicizing of their demand. It is grown in Sandy/Sandy Loam soils through March-October. Composition includes:
Nicotine: 2.5%
Reducing Sugar: 4.5%
Chloride: 0.001-0.005%
LIGHT SUN-CURED TOBACCO (DESI/HUKKAH TOBACCO)
This crop is grown for self-use as well as commercial purposes in the province of Punjab.
Production is regulated by considering supply and demand as well as previous year’s prices. It is grown in Loamy soils through May-August. Composition includes:
Nitrogen: 1-2%
Nicotine: 1.94-3.34%
Reducing Sugar: Nil
Chloride: 0.6-0.8%
SUN-CURED RUSTICA TOBACCO (CHELUM TOBACCO, MULKI TOBACCO, SNUFF TOBACCO)
This product has been an important cash crop for tobacco growers for centuries.
Its Production is variable and the Crop size is fixed according to the interest of growers, previous year’s prices etc. It is grown in Loamy Soils through December-May. Composition includes:
Nicotine: 3.5%
Reducing Sugar: 2.7%
DARK AIR-CURED TOBACCO
Used for blending purposes by Tobacco companies
this variety is produced according to their demand and the Crop size is fixed after their publicizing. It is grown in Light loamy Soils through February-August. Composition includes:
Nicotine: 0.8-1.2%
Reducing Sugar: 1-3%
Chloride: 0.5-2%
